Finished in July 2001, “ Estrategias de Comunicación ” (Communication Strategies, Ariel, Barcelona , 2001) was presented in Madrid in November 19 th in the cycle “Protagonistas de la Comunicación ”, organized by the DIRCOM Association, with the participation of distinguished experts of the academic and professional world.

Since then, Communication Strategies has had a warm welcome that has been concreted in:

Presentations and debates in different Universities of Spain, Portugal and Latin America
The opinion of many experts and critics (look down)
Being one of the 20 most consulted and lent books in the Library of the Facultad de Ciencias de la Información during 2003 and 2004, and one of the four hundred most requested books in the whole Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
It has its third edition made in 2006
It has received two international distinctions

The prize of the IV Iberoamerican Communicators Summit to the Best Iberoamerican Book about Communication, given by a Jury of experts from five different countries (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, 2005).
The prize of the Universidade do Algarve to the excellence in Strategies research ( Faro , Portugal , 2006).

The most important fact is that his proposal of a new strategic theory (chapter 20) has given birth to a whole scientific movement: the Iberoamerican Forum about Communication Strategies (FISEC), that nowadays it joins more than 300 experts of 80 universities, and other Institutions and enterprises of 17 countries of the Iberoamerican Community of States , United States and Italy .
